Client Spotlight “The Rubino Family 2025”

It’s always such a joy for me when I get to spend the evening with the sweet Rubino family but this time was extra special as their oldest Son is graduating from High School! There was so much love, laughter and fun! The sweet Rubino family made memories that beautiful evening that they will all cherish for generations to come!

The Montag Family

The sweet Montag family had a beautiful evening for their family session. The kiddos are absolutely precious, they had so much fun making wishes on the seashells & starfish! They all made memories that beautiful summer evening that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Cody + Kadance’s Beautiful Surprise Engagement

Where do we even begin? Cody truly knocked it out of the park planning this perfect moment for Kadance, and she had no idea. From the sweet proposal on the sand to all the emotion, love, and joy captured in these photos, we are just obsessed with this session.

What makes this story even more special? Cody came across a backdrop inspiration photo he loved and shared the idea with his aunt. She took that vision and thoughtfully created a stunning custom backdrop just for their proposal. It turned out beautifully and added the perfect finishing touch to their special moment.

We’re also excited to share that Aunt Pat will now be working alongside us to design custom backdrops for all of your special occasions. We are so grateful to welcome her to the Lashes and Lenses Photography team and can’t wait to create more beautiful moments together.

The Bonds Family

There’s nothing sweeter than kiddos who are every bit of their parents’ hearts and completely stole mine! At the Bonds family beach session, the magic was undeniable: they had toes in the sand, sun-kissed giggles, and wishes whispered to starfish. They twirled through a dreamy mommy-daughter dance in the water And in between the fun, there were soft, quiet snuggles — the kind that speak love louder than words ever could. A perfect evening, full of heart and memories to last a lifetime.

Brandon + Alyson’s Beach Wedding

When you dream of having a beautiful outdoor wedding, you hope and pray it will look just like Alyson and Brandon‘s did. They had warm golden sunlight, a gentle breeze and rolling waves. Alyson and Brandon chose to do a first look.  You could just feel the love & emotion building as Alyson touched Brandon’s shoulder. When Brandon turned around and saw his gorgeous bride standing there he couldn’t take his eyes off of her and burst into the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.  Alyson and Brandon’s wedding day was perfect in every way from the first look, to her special time with her Father, the ceremony and then fun with their family & friends! Thank you so much Alyson and Brandon for letting us have a part of your special day and we wish you many, many years of love, happiness and wonderful memories as you start your new lives together!

Preserving Palafox

So thankful to have done a series of photos of Palafox Street at night in downtown Pensacola. Little did I know that there was a major renovation coming in 2026. This image captures one of those timeless evenings on Palafox, before the street begins its next chapter of transformation. Moments like this remind us how quickly familiar scenes become memories, and how important it is to preserve them.

This signed and numbered canvas is now available at Perdido Artist Gallery & Gifts, offering a tangible piece of downtown Pensacola as it once was.

Whether Palafox holds memories of evenings spent with family, laughter with dear friends, or simple moments along the way, this photograph holds those memories close, to be remembered for all the tomorrows.

The Spangler Family over the Years

One of the greatest gifts of being a family photographer is watching relationships grow—not just within families, but between families and the people who photograph them. Between 2021 and 2025, we’ve had the absolute joy of photographing the same incredible family at least six times, and somewhere along the way, they became so much more than clients, they became friends.

From our very first session together, there was an ease and trust that you can’t manufacture. Each time we met, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like catching up, laughing, sharing stories, watching the girls grow taller, braver, and more confident right before our eyes. Those moments are the heartbeat of what we do at Lashes and Lenses Photography.

Over the years, we’ve captured milestone moments and quiet in‑between ones. We’ve documented changing seasons, growing personalities, and the beautiful, imperfect connections that make a family uniquely theirs. Looking back through their galleries feels like flipping through a living scrapbook—proof that time really does move fast, but photographs have the power to slow it down. To capture a moment in time and put it in a time capsule.

What makes families like this so special to us is the trust they place in our vision, year after year. They show up as themselves, knowing they don’t need to perform or pose perfectly. They allow us into their story, and that is something we never take lightly.

This family represents everything we love about long‑term photography relationships: consistency, connection, and genuine care. We treasure them deeply and are endlessly grateful that they continue to choose Lashes and Lenses to document their lives and their special vacation memories.

To our returning families—thank you. You remind us why we do what we do, and why photographs matter so much. We can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes you, and we’re honored to be there, camera in hand, when it does.
