2026 Christmas Beach Minis are BACK!

It may still feel like summer here in Perdido Key, but Christmas will be here before we know it! ❤️🌴🎅🏻

We are so excited to bring back our Christmas Beach Mini Sessions at Johnson’s Beach in beautiful Perdido Key!

Imagine your family surrounded by our sugar-white sand, sea oats and beautiful beach scenery with a little Christmas magic mixed in. ✨

This year’s Christmas setup will include our 5-foot flocked Christmas tree, starfish ornaments for the kiddos to hang on the tree, our vintage-style Radio Flyer runner sled, cozy red Christmas blanket, lanterns and other festive touches. 🎄⭐️🛷

We love bringing a little Christmas magic to the sugar white sands of Perdido Key, creating a festive coastal setting that’s perfect for your family’s Christmas photos and holiday cards! ❤️🎄

These sessions are perfect for updating your family photos and getting those Christmas card pictures checked off your list early!

The full session fee of $245 is required to reserve your date and time. Availability is limited, and our Christmas Minis are only offered for a limited time.

Ryan’s Young, Wild and 2 Birthday

Young, Wild & TWO!

What a joy it has been watching sweet Ryan grow! We’ve been blessed to be a tiny part of his story since before he was even born, when we photographed his parents’ baby reveal. From capturing his six-month milestone, to celebrating his first birthday, and now, somehow, that sweet little baby is TWO!

We are so thankful to have been there again to capture Ryan’s 2nd birthday and be a part of such a special evening with his family. He had the best time playing with his dinosaurs, giving them lots of hugs, feeding them leaves, and soaking up all the love from Mom and Dad.

A special thank you to Aunt Pat for creating the adorable Young, Wild & Two photo backdrop and putting together such a fun setup for Ryan’s birthday session! It was the perfect setting for capturing all of these sweet memories.

And what better way to finish off such a special evening than playing on the playground? For Ryan, that was truly the icing on the birthday cake!

Watching our littlest clients grow and getting to capture these precious milestones along the way is truly one of the sweetest parts of what we do.

The Extended Henderson Family 2025

It’s always such a joy for me when I get to spend the evening with the sweet Henderson family! This time was extra special because I was able to meet their extended family. They had so much fun together on that very special evening. They made memories on that beautiful evening that they will cherish for a lifetime.

It’s always such a joy for me when I get to spend the evening with the sweet Ferguson family! They had so much fun together on that very special evening hanging candy canes on the Christmas tree, going for a sled ride through the sand, and lots of snuggles. They made memories on that beautiful evening that they will cherish for a lifetime.

This session was all about their precious little boy who is every beat of their hearts and completely stole mine! He had so much fun at the beach, playing in the water, blowing bubbles with Mommy & Daddy and swinging through the air! They made memories that beautiful fall evening out on Johnson’s Beach that they will treasure for a lifetime!

Celebrating Motherhood Through the Lens: A Photographer’s Perspective on Mother’s Day

As Mother’s Day approaches, it’s a perfect opportunity to pause and reflect on the unique beauty that motherhood embodies. As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing raw, intimate moments that tell the stories of mothers and the relationships they cultivate with their children. This special day not only celebrates the incredible women who have nurtured us but serves as a reminder of the power of imagery to preserve those fleeting yet profound moments.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing the connections between mothers and their children. Whether it’s a shy smile from a little one or the soft embrace of a mother holding her newborn, these are the instances that convey the depth of love and care. Each photograph I take tells a story—every smile, tear, and laugh reflects a moment in time, a fleeting instance of joy and tenderness.

Mother’s Day is a celebration of all kinds of motherhood, including biological, adoptive, stepmothers, and mothers in all forms. It’s essential to honor all the experiences of motherhood. I’ve had the profound honor of capturing the stories of women on their journey to motherhood, from pregnancy announcements to baby showers and as well as mothers as they prepare to send their children off into the world.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let’s remember to preserve these moments. A photograph has the power to freeze time, allowing us to look back and reflect on the love and joy that our mothers have shared with us. Whether it’s a professional photoshoot or a candid snapshot taken during a family gathering, these images become part of our family history.

This Mother’s Day, I encourage everyone to celebrate the mothers in their lives by capturing their essence through photography. Embrace the messiness and beauty of motherhood, and don’t be afraid to let those genuine moments shine. As a photographer, I am honored to document these stories and help families preserve their cherished memories.

Taylor & Garrett’s Christmas Mini session was absolutely perfect. They had a gorgeous afternoon with that warm golden sun! They are the sweetest couple and have so much love for each other. They had so much fun “dashing through the sand” and making their wishes on a starfish! They made memories that beautiful winter evening that they will cherish for a lifetime!
