It was a beautiful evening for the Cook Family session. It was all about the kiddos as their Son is going to be a Senior this upcoming school year so we did a “Mini Senior Session” for him. They made memories that warm summer evening that will be treasured for generations to come.
When 2020 started we were so excited about the upcoming year, little did we know we would be facing a pandemic called Covid and a major Hurricane named Sally. These two things brought many challenges & heartache but through it all we closed 2020 with grateful hearts. Only God can take those two catastrophes and turn it into something good. 2020 turned out to be one of our busiest years yet. With that being said we were able to use a portion of our proceeds to help the Florida Baptist Childrens home. We helped with household supplies, diapers and school supplies. We also had the privilege of providing their Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. We filled many precious children’s birthday wishes that involved cakes, cupcakes and gifts. It truly warms our hearts to know that many children were Blessed this past year through our business. We are so thankful to be able to do this.
We also met so many dear families from across from all over who came for photo sessions. We had three surprise engagements, two senior sessions, several special children’s birthdays, celebrations, family reunions and many returning clients that have become our dear friends, we were so happy to see them again and their growing families.
We are so thankful to have been a part of all our families special memories in 2020 and knowing the memories that were made will be cherished for years to come. We are so looking forward to 2021 and all the new memories that will be made and the new families that will become dear friends.
Lashes and Lenses Photography response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
First we would like to offer our prayers for health and safety for all of our clients, whether you are old friends or those who we have yet to meet. Our thoughts are with those who are directly affected by this virus and those who are fighting it from the front lines. We are so thankful for the selfless healthcare professionals who have devoted their lives to saving others.
Lashes and Lenses Photography is still open for business although we will be taking precautions as we move forward with our Spring and Summer break clients. We will be following the President’s directives, the State of Florida’s mandates as well as following the CDC’s guidelines.
As of today we will not be able to take new clients with more than 10 in their party.
We will be sanitizing any props that are brought for the sessions as well as all of our equipment.
We will also be moving to a paperless contract process.
We ask that if anyone in your family has been sick within the past 14 days of your session to please let us know and we will make other arrangements.
We would like to do our part to “flatten the curve” and keep our Clients healthy.
We will be reviewing the ever changing situation regularly and will keep you up to date with any developments. Please also check our website, Instagram and Facebook for up to date information. In the meantime please stay safe and know that you are in our thoughts and we look forward to brighter days ahead.
As 2018 closes our hearts are so full of Thanksgiving for how God has Blessed our business this past year. We met dear families from all over the world that started out as clients and now have become our friends. We feel so honored to have had a small part in capturing their special memories that they will cherish for years to come. We look forward to 2019 and all the new families we will meet.
This sweet little family reminded Allison and I of our family and it was evident to see their beautiful Daughter is every beat of their hearts. They have not had family photos together in a very long time so this was super special. It was a gorgeous evening on Perdido Key and it was fairly quiet at Johnson’s Beach except for the laughter that was coming from this precious family.
We had so much fun with Heidi and her loves. It was a beautiful afternoon in the park and couldn’t have been more perfect.
This was such a special photoshoot for me, It was for my Daughter’s 21st Birthday. It was such a beautiful day on Johnson’s Beach. We had a ton of fun and as I was looking through my lens it was so hard to believe that she was turning 21, it seemed just like yesterday that we were celebrating her 5 year old birthday with lots of balloons, party hats and little friends running around, laughing and giggling. Time has a way of marching on. We are so proud of her and the beautiful Woman she has grown into.
The shell she is holding in the below picture is from her Great Grandpa and is a absolute treasure. It was given to my Husband when he was a young boy and he would hold it up to his ear to hear the waves and he would dream of being by the Ocean, feeling the breeze brush across his face and finding more shells just like this one. Never thinking that one day he would live right by the Ocean.
