There is something so special about when grown children come home to spend time with Mom and Dad. The Arce Family shared a beautiful evening together, laughing, making memories, and simply enjoying being with one another. Time like this becomes even more precious as the years go by, and it was such an honor to capture these moments for them. There is something so special about seeing an entire family come together for a beach vacation. Watching multiple generations, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and little ones laughing, playing, and simply enjoying one another is such a beautiful reminder of what truly matters.

These precious children were the heartbeat of the evening and completely stole my heart. As the sun painted the sky with beautiful summer colors, this sweet family made memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Abbie + Samuel’s Surprise Engagement

Some moments are so beautifully unexpected that they become memories treasured for a lifetime.

Abbie thought she and Samuel were simply ending a wonderful evening together with a walk on the beach after dinner. She had no idea that Samuel had something much bigger planned.

As they made their way through the soft white sand, Samuel dropped to one knee and completely surprised the love of his life. The look on Abbie’s face was one of pure surprise, excitement, and joy as she realized this was the moment she would remember forever.

After she said “yes,” we spent the rest of the evening capturing the excitement of their very first moments as an engaged couple, with the beautiful Gulf Coast providing the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable chapter in their story.

Congratulations, Abbie & Samuel! Thank you for allowing Lashes & Lenses Photography to capture such a special milestone in your lives. It was an honor to witness the beginning of this new chapter and preserve these memories for you to cherish for years to come.

The Spangler Family 2026

There are families that leave a special place in your heart, and the sweet Spangler family is definitely one of them.

It was such a joy to see them again this summer, but this year was even more special because we had the privilege of meeting the rest of the Spangler family. From the moment everyone arrived, there was so much love, laughter, and genuine joy surrounding them. It was one of those evenings that reminds us just how precious family truly is.

One of the highlights of the evening was the beautiful custom backdrop that our Special Event Designer, Aunt Pat, created to commemorate their family beach trip this year. She put so much love into every detail, and it meant so much to her to finally meet the entire Spangler family for the very first time. Seeing everyone gathered together in front of it made all of her hard work worthwhile.

The cousins absolutely adore one another, and watching them laugh, run, and chase bubbles together was one of the sweetest parts of the evening. Those simple moments of childhood are the memories that last a lifetime.

Earlier in the day, we weren’t sure the weather was going to cooperate, but God had a different plan. Just in time for their session, the rain cleared, and He blessed us with the most beautiful summer evening. As the session came to an end, the sky transformed into breathtaking shades of color, creating the perfect backdrop for a family making memories together. It was one of those sunsets that reminds us of God’s incredible handiwork and the many blessings He pours into our lives.

Thank you, Spangler family, for allowing us to capture another chapter of your story. It is always an honor to preserve these moments, and we can’t wait to see you again next time. 💙

Kinsley’s senior session was everything we love about beach portraits, timeless, elegant, and full of joy. Dressed in a flowing white gown that danced with the Gulf breeze, she absolutely glowed as the sun dipped behind the dunes. Every smile reflected the excitement of this incredible season of life and all the adventures that lie ahead.

Senior year is more than just a milestone, it’s the celebration of years of hard work, cherished memories, and the beginning of a brand-new chapter. We were so honored to capture these beautiful moments for Kinsley and create memories she’ll treasure for years to come.

If we could give this sweet session a title, it would be “Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice.” These adorable little girls are truly the heartbeat of their family and completely captured mine! From making wishes on their starfish to lots of snuggles, every moment was filled with laughter, love, and joy. Together, they created memories on that beautiful July evening that will be treasured for generations to come.

A Surprise Engagement Filled with Showers of Blessings | Sunnie + Kyle

Some moments are so perfectly orchestrated that you know they couldn’t have been planned by anyone but God.

Sunnie arrived at Johnson’s Beach believing she was simply celebrating her 30th birthday with a beach photo session. She had no idea that Kyle had something much bigger in mind.

As we arrived, dark clouds rolled in and the rain began to fall. For a few moments, we wondered if the proposal would have to be postponed. But sometimes the greatest blessings come after a little waiting.

We delayed the session just long enough for the rain to pass, and before long the skies began to clear. As we casually walked toward what Sunnie thought was just another photo location, she still hadn’t realized that the beautiful setup waiting ahead was actually for her.

Then came the moment.

Kyle dropped to one knee, asked the question he had been waiting to ask, and Sunnie said “YES!”

As if the moment wasn’t already magical enough, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky directly behind them a breathtaking reminder that even after the storms, God’s promises remain faithful. It truly felt like showers of blessings had been poured out over the beginning of their next chapter together. As the rainbow faded and the sky turned into a gorgeous pink, yellow sunset, their beginning was just starting.

From joyful tears to nonstop smiles, every moment was filled with excitement, laughter, and overwhelming love. We are so honored that Kyle trusted the Lashes & Lenses Photography team to help plan and capture such an unforgettable surprise for Sunnie.

Sunnie and Kyle, congratulations on your engagement! Thank you for allowing us to witness one of the most important moments of your lives. We are praying that your marriage is filled with as much joy, hope, and beauty as this incredible evening.
